First Church Family,
Blessings on you this first full week of May. The experts tell us that our last chance of a killing frost is past us, meaning that we are free to set out annual plants and garden vegetables without fear of losing them to cold weather. But is anyone really an “expert” on weather? Ha!
We continue to move forward following our resumption of in-person worship services on Sundays. Thank you for participating the way you have. And many thanks to our volunteers for helping us with safety and logistics.
This Sunday, May 9 (Mother’s Day), we will again have two services, our modern service at 9:00AM in the Christian Life Center and our traditional service at 11:00AM in the Sanctuary.
There is no need to register your place in either service as we can easily and safely have many more persons in our worship spaces. The past few Sundays, those of us present for worship in our building have realized what we have been missing each other. God’s presence as we’ve gathered has been palpable!
Please consider joining us and bringing someone with you! But if not, we will continue to be live on our YouTube channel at 9:00AM and 11:00AM on Sundays – so catch us there.
God is Good! All the Time! We have been blessed by God’s presence in a powerful way, through the pandemic and out on the other side of it.
Blessings,
Pastor Dave
