First Church Family,
What a beautiful season of Advent we’re experiencing! I pray that we remember the words of Isaiah’s prophecy, specifically that God comes to those who wait and are prepared for Him.
Please take a moment to internalize the following worship announcements:
- This coming Sunday, December 17, we will worship together at 11:00AM in our Sanctuary. In that service, our chancel choir will present its 2023 Christmas Cantata with orchestra. There will not be a 9:00AM service that day.
- The following Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve,) we will have both of our regular services on Sunday morning and then a 5:00PM service that evening with Communion.
- Following the 5:00PM service, I will stay until 6:30PM to serve communion to those who choose a more informal sacramental moment.
- Then, on the last Sunday (and day) of the calendar year, December 31, we will meet in one service in the Christian Life Center. That service will be at 10:00AM and will include Holy Communion.
Please remember this schedule and remind each other of upcoming dates and times as the weeks progress.
